Your child CAN learn to read.

Here is how….

I work with students who have:

  • A diagnosed language-based learning disability, such as Dyslexia.

  • Persistent struggles with reading, spelling, or comprehension.

  • An IEP or 504 plan and need additional, specialized support.

My approach is structured, explicit, and tailored to your child’s unique needs:

  • Methodology: I use a hybrid Barton and Wilson Reading System approach, focusing on evidence-based, multisensory instruction.

  • Format: All sessions are 100% virtual, 50 minutes long.

  • Frequency: To ensure meaningful progress, I require a minimum of 2 sessions per week.

  • Pricing: $65 per session. Transparent, flat-rate pricing with no surprises.

What to Expect:

Getting started is simple. Here is the process:

1. Free Consultation: We start with a 15-minute introductory call to discuss your child's needs and determine if we are a good fit.

2. Initial Assessment: I conduct a comprehensive informal reading assessment to pinpoint exact gaps in phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency.

3. Customized Instruction: We begin our twice-weekly virtual sessions, utilizing targeted, multisensory methods to build foundational reading skills and confidence.

4. Ongoing Communication: I provide regular updates and collaborate with you to ensure strategies are supported outside of our sessions.

- From a Former Student

"Before your class, every book I picked up, I just looked at the page for about 3 minutes and then flipped it. I was treated like a failure by almost all of my teachers. But you were one of the few who had confidence in me. You helped me with reading, my scores went up, and I still use the things you taught me today when I'm trying to comprehend. It helped me graduate, and today I am a manager and guaranteed future business owner."

"She worked tirelessly to produce an environment that was conducive to learning and she was successful in teaching very difficult concepts. She is a fabulous trainer and provides motivating feedback. Jill earned my respect while teaching my child; she encouraged, gave constructive criticism, and inspired my daughter."
